Become a better you

Humans are built block by block over a period of time in a figurative sense. Every moment is an experience and therefore a building block. The repertoire keeps increasing as we move from phase to phase in life. Our self esteem is bombarded by experiences in every moment of life. Then, there is this higher authority inside us that tells the self esteem as to how it should process the information the experiences bring in. This higher authority is what we are – our consciousness ! When this God of ours is not awakened, its instructions may go wrong. And the self esteem has to obey the orders, good or bad. Moving to the higher planes of consciousness is like getting a bigger grip on our self esteem. The stronger the grip, the more peaceful is our existence and the more peaceful we are inside, the more fulfilled we are.

The three steps of reaching the higher planes of consciousness and therefore peace:

1, Keep the chase structured- Humans are engineered to chase, This is what makes them human. But when this chase becomes unruly, it affects the peace within us and therefore our well being. It makes sense to keep the chase structured and to prioritise keeping the long term goals in mind. And believe me the long term goals are always the life goals that are at the top of the Maslow’s hierarchy. Those who stay stuck at the bottom rungs are bound to lose a lot while the chase gets out of hand. So get the hold on your priorities, when you still have time and energy.

2. Listen a lot- Keep the urge to speak within control. Listening, discerning, assimilating and discarding are important to cleanse the inner self. Be judicious and fair by staunchly refusing to judge others for what they are or what they say or how they behave. Stay detached and keep your cool!

3. Keep fit- Run that mile everyday, hit the gym, vent it from where you get the energy back and let this energy reach out of you and touch everyone around.
