Trolls

They don’t wait for the explanations,
they do not empathize;
but they do track you with all the accusations, barbs and threats, in order to correct whatever they perceive is wrong with you and torment you in the public eye.

They start from the keyboards,
they start from the smartphones;
travel through the crazy alleys of perceptions, land onto the ears, transferred to the brains, once started they do not stop
you will not even know why!

They claim to be informed,
they project affiliations,
to history and to logic, they show inclinations, they claim to be real and perfect;
but they are none of those since
they are born every day before they die.

They might be humans,
they might be bots;
toxicity is their theme without any inhibitions, but they always have an agenda,
to breathe hate and seek attention;
they will try everything under the sky.

Do open your mouth, let the words flow
let the world know;
that you think otherwise, without crazy intentions. While the pulse races,
and the brain weaves the stories of hope,
they can’t subdue you, let the trolls try!

Double shots Espresso

Coffee and me

From the West to the East

A couple of days more
I will take the wings
And leave behind the
smells and vibes
Up above the clouds
my precious time
will be drowned into the oblivion
a day of my life
will cease to exist…
Will you ever know
that I did this for you?

The search ends!

The difference

The other day I went to get a few printouts from at a shop located at the one of the streets in North Dublin. I paid an ‘x’ amount. The amiable guy at the counter asked whether I need to get the copies stapled. I said ”yes’. He did that. Then I asked him for a bag to carry the pages. He obliged me with a paper bag. He didn’t charge any money for these services. He also added a smile. I was happy.

Once again on another day I needed printouts. Obviously I went to the same shop. I realised I was late and the shop had already closed. Then I walked up to another shop located just a few blocks away. The experience goes like this…

The man at the counter had no smile for me. He charged me double the amount for the same work. He handed over loose printed sheets to me. On being asked for a bag he handed over a flimsy plastic folder to me and charged 50 cents for that.

C’mon fellas.. it doesn’t hurt to check and compare the rates and smiles !
