Migrants

Sleepless dreams
barefooted anger
hands to mouth life
that you tore apart
Hapless and clueless
dying questions on the lips
churn in the stomach
clammy palms
up in a prayer

The source

You lose your loved ones

Deadly sharp stabs pierce my heart

You scream and cry yourself hoarse

Tears spill from my eyes

You writhe with the pain unknown

I seek its source in the frantic nights

You give up on life

I shut my eyes and die.

Soul

Tired feet
parched soul
only remains the voice of hunger
in the pit of the stomach
the fear of unknown
locks the cry of disgust
within the throat.
O humans!
Why did you pretend to be the Gods?

Everyone

Everyone is an island
there are neither wings
nor paddles to cross
this ocean of fear!
Everyone is watching
there are neither words
nor voice of comfort!
Hang on tightly
onto the rainbow of hope
with the eyes shut
exult in the existence.

Absent

They lay beneath the layers
some seen and some absent
some quiet and some noisy
the fingers tremble
when trying to uncover the remnants
that send the shivers
down the spine
the feet freeze
the lights vacate
the eyes
